Rossif Sutherland was born on September 25, 1978, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, to Canadian actor Donald Sutherland and his wife Francine Racette. He has two brothers, Angus and Roeg, as well as a half-brother, actor Kiefer, and a half-sister, Rachel. Named after French TV and film director Frédéric Rossif, Sutherland lived in Paris from age seven. He attended the Princeton University and studied philosophy there.
Coming to the Canadian actor’s love life, he got married to British actress Celina Sinden in 2016. The couple has a son, Theodore Sutherland.
Rossif Sutherland first appeared as François Dontelle in the 2003 film ‘Timeline’. The same year, he had a recurring role in the drama ‘ER’. After this, he guest-starred in an episode of the series ‘Monk’. Then in 2006, the actor was cast as Gabe in the flick ‘I'm Reed Fish’. The following year, he played Donnie Rose in the movie ‘Poor Boy's Game’. After this, he starred in the films ‘High Life’ and ‘The Con Artist’. Sutherland then got featured in the movie ‘I'm Yours’ in 2011. A year later, he played Burt Rumsfeld in the film ‘Dead Before Dawn’.
