At the age of 16, she began her modeling career and started appearing in commercials. She was also featured in ‘Teen Vogue’ which gave her career a much-needed boost.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was signed to the American lingerie brand ‘Victoria’s Secret’ in early 2006. She made her debut at the brand’s fashion show held in Los Angeles. For the next two years, however, she remained mostly unknown until she was cast by chief creative director Christopher Bailey, in the autumn/winter campaign for Burberry. As her popularity increased, she was featured on the cover of the ‘British Vogue’ magazine in November 2008 alongside two other models.
She modeled for Godiva and Miss Sixty in 2009. In 2010, she official became one of the ‘Victoria’s Secret Angels’ and modeled for the ‘Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show’ held at New York City. She also posed nude for the Pirelli Calendar, photographed by Terry Richardson, the same year.
As she appeared in several other advertisement campaigns, her fame peaked to newer heights and fashion photographer John Rankin Waddell published a book which was entirely devoted to her.
She made a solo appearance on the cover of the magazine ‘British Vogue’ in March 2011 and later appeared on the covers of ‘Elle’ and ‘GQ’ magazines’ UK issues in July. Later in 2013, she was announced as the face of the Australian cosmetics brand Modelco.

Directed by Michael Bay, the film starred actors Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, John Turturro, Tyrese Gibson, Patrick Dempsey and Kevin Dunn besides Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

It is the currently the seventeenth highest earning film of all time, and was the fourth at the time of release. It was nominated for the Oscars in three different categories. Despite the film’s success, Huntington-Whiteley’s acting skills were met with criticism. She was also nominated for the Razzie Award for Worst Supporting Actress.
She next appeared in the 2015 action film ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ which was co-written, directed, and co-produced by George Miller. The film was the fourth installment of the Mad Max franchise, following the films ‘Mad Max’ (1979), ‘Mad Max 2’ (1981) and ‘Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome’ (1985). The film received critical acclaim. The story revolved around the adventures of a police officer in a future dystopian Australia which is experiencing societal collapse and shortage of water and petrol due to wars.
