Rene Nezhoda started buying and selling antiques when he was 11. His mind is an encyclopaedia of second hand prices. Nezhoda has great deal of knowledge of the value of second hand items, having been in the thrift store business almost his entire life. He has even published a price guide on Limited Edition Casino Chips. In Poway, California, he has a large around 7000 sq ft Bargain Hunter Thrift Store that is home to envious stock of collectibles and antiques. He also has an online store to enable buyers purchase products from anywhere in the world.

Interestingly, Rene Nezhoda was pursued to appear in the Storage War show ever since its first season. However, due to lack of time, he could only make it in the fourth season. However, never too late, Nezhoda’s first time appearance made viewers fall in love with his entertainment antics. His onscreen drama and awesome amusement skills alongside Brandi Passante and Dan Dotson earned him a recurring role and by the next season, he became a regular in the show. Though his German accent makes him standout from the rest, Nezhoda is noted for his buying prowess. His extensive knowledge of second hand sales together with a big bankroll makes him a veteran buyer who doesn’t back down for anyone. More than often, his wife Casey Nezhoda, accompanies him in the show and shares screen space with him. The two are active on the show and would battle with other main buyers on Storage Wars to find great money-making deals.

Rene Nezhoda was born on April 5, 1977, in Austria to a not-so-very well-known actor father Gunter Nezhoda. Though his father wasn’t an accomplished actor, he nevertheless passed on his entertainment skills to his son. Rene was raised in Frankfurt, Germany until 1990 after which the Nezhoda family shifted base to USA, setting in San Diego. He completed his high school studies from Las Vegas High School. Though Nezhoda prefers to claim that he hails from USA, his thick German accent gives him away.

On the romantic front, Rene Nezhoda walked the aisle and tied the nuptials with Casey Nezhoda. The duo shares screen space in the ‘Storage Wars’ reality show. They are extremely religious and regular church goers. Their daughter often accompanies them to services. Both of them are vocal about their faiths and beliefs.
