Rebecca De Mornay

Rebecca De Mornay was born as Rebecca Jane Pearch on August 29, 1959, in Santa Rosa, California, USA, to parents Julie and Wally George. She attended Summerhill School. The actress got married to Bruce Wagner in 1986. After divorcing him in 1990, she was briefly engaged to Leonard Cohen. De Mornay was also in a relationship with Patrick O'Neal with whom she has two daughters.

Rebecca De Mornay first appeared in the 1981 movie ‘One from the Heart’. She then appeared in the movies ‘Risky Business’, ‘Testament’, ‘The Slugger's Wife’, ‘Runaway Train’ and ‘The Trip to Bountiful’. After this, she did the TV film ‘The Murders in the Rue Morgue’ in 1986. A year later, Rebecca De Mornay was cast as Beauty in the flick ‘Beauty and the Beast’. Then in 1990, she acted in the TV movie ‘By Dawn's Early Light’. Soon after this, she got featured in the movies ‘Backdraft’ and ‘The Hand That Rocks the Cradle’.

The American star was then cast in the films ‘Guilty as Sin’ and ‘The Three Musketeers’ in 1993. Two years later, she worked in the movie ‘Never Talk to Strangers’. Rebecca De Mornay then played the role of Wendy Torrance in the miniseries ‘The Shining‘ in 1997. Two years later, she acted in the drama ‘ER’ as well as in the movies ‘Thick as Thieves’ and ‘A Table for One’. From 2000 to 2007, she did numerous small screen and big screen projects namely ‘Range of Motion’, ‘Boomtown’, ‘The Practice’, ‘Law & Order: Special Victims Unit’, ‘John from Cincinnati’, ‘The Right Temptation’, ‘Identity’, ‘Raise Your Voice’, ‘Lords of Dogtown’, ‘Wedding Crashers’, ‘American Venus’ and ‘Music Within’.

In 2010, SHE was cast in the films ‘Flipped’ and ‘Mother's Day’. The following year, she played the roles of Dr. Bach and Maddie Slate in the movies ‘A Fonder Heart’ and ‘Apartment 1303 3D’ respectively. Then Rebecca De Mornay received a role in the flick ‘American Reunion’ in 2012. Three years later, she joined the cast of ‘Jessica Jones’. In 2016, she played the roles of Vivian Hill and Penelope Decker in the movies ‘I Am Wrath’ and the drama ‘Lucifer’ respectively.
