Raini Alena Rodriguez

Children and young adults would agree that Raini is cute and adorable. Just look at the sweet smile and superb confidence this young girl exudes. Plus, she is comfortable with her size and exhibits a coolness that very few youngsters possess. Born in Bryan, Texas, she was raised by parents Diane and Roy Rodriguez who owned a business called Rodriguez Tire Service. At the age of eleven, she was discovered by California based talent agent, Susan Osser at the IMTA Showcase. Osser offered to become Raini’s manager provided they move to California and explore a year of opportunities. Raini’s mother agreed; together with her two children Raini and Rico, she moved to Los Angeles while their father stayed back in Texas to continue the family business. Raini began her acting career with short appearances in television and films, enacting trivial roles. She appeared in single episodes of television series like ‘Huff’ (2006), ‘Handy Manny’ (2007), ‘Family of the Year’ (2007), ‘The Suite Life of Zack & Cody’ (2007) and films like ‘Parker’ (2007), ‘Babysitters Beware’ (2008), etc. In 2011, she got her big break when she essayed the character of Trish in ‘Austin & Ally’. The series continued for five years, making her an extremely well known face among Disney fans. She received the 2013 Images Award for Best Young Television Actress. Her breakout film role happened in 2009 with ‘Paul Blart: Mall Cop’. Later, she also co-starred with Eva Mendes in the 2012 film ‘Girl in Progress’. As a singer, in 2012 she recorded a song titled ‘Living Your Dreams’ in English and Spanish for the movie ‘Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3: Viva La Fiesta!’.

It is not difficult to see why Raini Rodriguez is so special. Her unconventional looks, dark curly hair, sweet smile and adorable nature make her an instant hit among children and teenagers alike. She is extremely talented; she can act well, sing beautifully, and even has plans to venture into direction. Although she is an extremely successful young artist, she is cheerful, bubbly, and totally down to earth. Did you know that Raini was bullied as a child? When she had to play one such victim’s role on television, she could easily relate to the episode. She was happy to show kids that bullying can happen to anyone, but with the support of friends and family one can rise above it. Now isn’t that self confidence cool? Her future ambition is to star in a horror movie where she plays the villain. She would also like to direct a project co-written with her brother, Rico. Raini loves being behind the camera and would like to become a director. There is a long way ahead of Raini and fans can hope to see her as a director of a film or a sitcom and singer in future.
