Poppy Deyes

Poppy was born on May 29, 1991, in Brighton, England. Her full name is Emma ‘Poppy’ Deyes. It was her nanny who loved the name ‘Emma.’ ‘Poppy’ is actually her nickname which later became her online alias.

Poppy took up an 'Art Foundation' course after her schooling. After finishing the course, she decided to pursue arts for her higher studies. She majored in 'Fine Art' from 'Kingston University' in 2014. Poppy spent a year in Central London, where she worked at a burger restaurant and also assisted teaching an autistic child.

Poppy is in a relationship with popular YouTuber Sean Elliott O'Connor. The two met through common friends and eventually their friendship bloomed. After about seven and a half years, they finally began dating each other.

In an attempt to explore her creative side, Poppy chose 'arts' for her higher studies. During the time she was studying arts, she developed an interest in photography, and she combined two of her loves, writing and photography, to become a blogger. To her, blogging gives a sense of freedom to express. Through her blogs and photographs, Poppy portrays her life. Also, her habit of beautifying things made her learn photo-editing. Due to her perfectionist-like nature, Poppy keeps making changes in her posts till she is happy with the result. Blogging gives Poppy the perfect platform to showcase all her creative skills.

Poppy’s blog has numerous travel diaries, makeup tutorials, product reviews, shopping hauls and much more. Her Instagram account has brought her over a million followers to date. Poppy also posts soulful quotes and pictures on her 'Twitter' handle, which has now accrued over 380 thousand followers.

Poppy is yet to start her own 'YouTube' channel. However, one can find many videos featuring Poppy along with her brother and boyfriend on 'YouTube.' Her brother Alfie Deyes is a popular YouTuber and has featured his sister many times on his vlogs. Poppy’s boyfriend too is a vlogger and they have featured in many videos together. Her best friend and famous beauty vlogger, Zoe Elizabeth Sugg, has created a couple of makeup tutorials along with Poppy.
