Peyton Evans

Peyton was born Peyton Kaye Evans, on February 17, 2009, in Tooele, Utah, US, to Mike and Kerri Evans. Kerri works as a project coordinator. Peyton's nickname is Peyts.

Acrobatics is the strongest point of Peyton’s dance skills. Over the years, she has mastered the skill. She is also a skilled power tumbler. However, although she is a skilled acro dancer, she loves watching lyrical dance. Peyton believes lyrical dance is comparatively easier to learn. She is a fan of the football team 'Dolphins.' Peyton’s signature dance moves are the back handspring to the head and the straddle jump. Peyton is a good friend of Maddie Ziegler from 'Dance Moms.' She idolizes Maddie, as she has always been a reliable guide and support to Peyton.

Apart from dancing, Peyton enjoys playing football with her brother, Jordan Evans. She also loves playing on trampolines and in pools. Peyton is fond of macaroni and cheese, gummies, and fruit roll-ups. A true animal lover, Peyton owns two Labradors, a cat, and a rabbit.

Peyton was just 18 months old when she started dancing. By the time she turned 3, she was already participating in various dance competitions. At the same time, Peyton also delivered solo jazz performances. About a year later, she began performing on stage. Peyton was first trained at the California-based dance studio 'ALDC.'

Peyton is skilled in several dance forms, such as jazz and lyrical. However, her all-time favorite dance form is acro. She was the winner of the solo category competition at the 2016 'Utah Dance Fest.' The same year, she participated at the 'America On Stage Dance Competition' and the 'JUMP Dance Convention.'

Peyton then participated in the sixth season of the 'Lifetime' dance reality show 'Dance Moms.' This was a big breakthrough for her. She participated in the show along with her mother. The show highlights all the drama and emotion at the ‘ALDC,’ the dance studio where Peyton began her dance training. When she was 6 years old, she attended an open-call audition at the dance studio. She made her TV debut as part of the ‘ALDC’ mini team, along with her mother.

Peyton was the youngest contestant on the show. She and her mother decided to quit the show the following season. While on the show, she looked up to fellow contestant Mackenzie Ziegler as her mentor and Kalani Hilliker as her role model.

The show featured Peyton displaying her acro skills, which helped her remain on the show for a significantly long time. Peyton later moved to the 'Prodigy Dance Academy.' She is now associated with the Utah-based talent agency 'MöDA Talent Management.'
