Paola Nicole Andino was born on March 22, 1998 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. She is of Native American descent. He has an older brother. When Paola was three years old, she moved to Dallas, Texas, the United States, with her parents and brother.
As a child, she was passionate about dancing, and joined the Lewisville's Footlights Dance Studio. She also demonstrated her budding acting skills at the age of ten, and started taking acting classes with Antonia Denardo at Denardo Talent Ventures in Lewisville.
She has a sweet tooth and loves Puerto Rican and Italian food; her favorite ice cream flavor is Cookies ‘n Cream. She admires numerous musicians and bands, including The 1975, The Weekend, James Vincent McMorrow, The Lumineers, Bastille, Arctic Monkeys, Birdy, and Ed Sheeran.
In 2010, Paola Nicole Andino made her acting debut by playing the role of Lily Price in one episode ‘These Arms of Mine’ in ‘Grey's Anatomy’, a medical television series that aired on the American Broadcasting Company (ABC). In 2011, she played Maria in ‘Beyond the Blackboard’, a Hallmark Hall of Fame TV movie also starring Emily VanCamp and Treat Williams. In 2014, she played herself in ‘ReactToThat’, an American television series created by Nick Cannon, and Benny and Rafi Fine. It ran on Nickelodeon for over two weeks, starting from December 15, 2014.
In 2013, she bagged the lead role of Emma Alonso in the television series ‘Every Witch Way’, the American version of the popular Latin American series ‘Grachi’. ‘Every Witch Way’ was aired on Nickelodeon from January 1, 2014 to July 30, 2015. She bagged a nomination for the Best Young Actress at the 29th Imagen Awards for her much appreciated role of Emma Alonso.
In 2015, she appeared as Emma Alonso in the crossover episode ‘Every Witch Lola's’ in the show ‘Talia in the Kitchen’, an American teen sitcom aired on Nickelodeon. She then reprised her role of Emma Alonso in two episodes of ‘WITS Academy’, a telenovela-formatted sitcom, which was also aired on Nickelodeon in October 2015. It was a sequel to the series ‘Every Witch Way’.
In 2017, Paola portrayed Olivia ‘Chaparra’ Gutiérrez in the crime drama thriller series, ‘Queen of the South’. She played a party girl with a rude attitude and a foul mouth who always invited trouble for herself. Aired on USA Network, it is based on the best-selling book ‘La Reina Del Sur’ by Arturo Pérez-Reverte. According to critics, Paola has a very bright future in the entertainment industry.
