Paige Howard

Paige Howard was born on February 5, 1985 in Los Angeles, California, the United States to actor/filmmaker Ron Howard and his wife Cheryl Alley. She is the twin sister of actress Jocelyn Howard, the younger sister of actress Bryce Dallas Howard, and the elder sister of actor Reed Howard. Paige and her sisters were babysat by many Hollywood stars including Tom Cruise. She and her siblings were not allowed to watch television until they were seven or eight years old.

She is a granddaughter of Hollywood stars Rance and Jean Speegle Howard, and a niece of Clint Howard. She is of English, Irish, German, and Scottish ancestry. Howard has a pet dog named Munchkin. Her family members are supporters of the Democratic Party. She also supported the party in the presidential elections of 2016.

The actress attended New York University’s The Tisch School of the Arts with friends Nelson Franklin, Renée Felice Smith, and Lauren Silvi. Howard is a vegetarian.

Paige Howard started her acting career as a stage actress. Her stage debut was at New York City’s Vineyard Theatre where she played the titular character in J. M. Barrie's famous play ‘Mary Rose.’ After this, she had guest-starring roles in the TV shows ‘90210’ and ‘Medium’. In 2009, the actress made her feature film debut in the comedy ‘Adventureland’ in which she appeared as Sue O’Malley. Soon after, she was cast in a lead role in the web series ‘stalkTALK’.

In 2012, Howard played starring roles in the indie comedies ‘Cheesecake Casserole’ and ‘Virgin Alexander’. The following year, she played the role of Sandra Turner in the psychological thriller flick ‘The Employer’ alongside Malcolm McDowell. Her performance in the film was much praised and she went on to receive the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Los Angeles Movie Awards function for the same.

Paige Howard was conceived in Carlyle; hence, her middle name is Carlyle. The actress’ brother Reed was conceived in Cross, and thus, has the middle name Cross.
