Oh Yeon-seo was born as Oh Haet-nim on June 22, 1987, in Jinju, South Korea. After her band’s disbandment, she entered Anyang Arts High School. Later on, she studied acting from Dongguk University. The actress had dated actor/singer Lee Jang-woo in the past.

Personal Life
Oh Yeon-seo started her career as a singer. At the age of 15, she joined the band ‘LUV’ and helped to release their first album ‘Story’. After the band dissolved after six months, the singer shifted to acting. In 2003, she made her debut in the TV series ‘Sharp 1’. Then she appeared in the drama ’ Nonstop 4’. In 2006, Oh did the series ‘Stranger Than Paradise’ and ‘Love and Hate’ and also appeared in music videos of Big Mama and BGH4.

The following year, she acted in the films ‘Herb’, ‘Someone Behind You’ and ‘May I Cry’. From 2008 to 2010, Oh was cast in both small and big screen projects, such as ‘A Blood Pledge’, ‘Happy Killers’, ‘Drama City "LoveForSale.com"’, ‘Returned Earthen Bowl’, ‘The Great Merchant’, ‘More Charming by the Day’ and ‘Dong Yi’. During that time, she also worked with a few artists for their music videos. Soon after this, she gave her voice to the character of Han Soo-min for animated movie ‘Green Days: Dinosaur and I’.

Oh was then cast in the TV shows ‘My Husband Got a Family’ and ‘Here Comes Mr. Oh’ in 2012. The same year, she did many variety shows including ‘Happy Together’, ‘Strong Heart’, ‘We Got Married Season 4’, ‘Golden Fishery: Radio Star’ and ‘Live Talk Show Taxi’. Two years later, the South Korean actress appeared in the drama ‘Jang Bo-ri is Here’. Then in 2016, she did the series ‘Please Come Back, Mister’ as well as the flick ‘Take Off 2’. She also appeared as guest in the variety show ‘Running Man’. In 2017, Oh acted in the movie ‘Cheese in the Trap’ and the series ‘My Sassy Girl’.
