Adrienne Monique Coleman was born on November 13, 1980, in Orangeburg, South Carolina, USA to Roz Coleman. She attended Heathwood Hall Episcopal School and later went to the DePaul University in Chicago, receiving her BFA in acting in 2002. Talking about her love life, Coleman got married to Walter Jordan on Valentine’s Day in year 2012 in Koh Samui, Thailand.
Monique Coleman made her first screen appearance in the independent film ‘Mother of the River’ in 1995. Two years later, she appeared in the TV movie ‘The Ditchdigger's Daughters’. In 2003, she appeared in an episode of ‘Strong Medicine’. The following year, she guest starred in a number of television programs, such as 'Gilmore Girls', 'Married to the Kellys', 'Malcolm in the Middle' and 'Method & Red'. Soon after this, Coleman was cast as Mary Margaret in Disney Channel’s ‘The Suite Life of Zack & Cody’.
In the year 2006, she participated in the reality competition show ‘Dancing with the Stars’ and also joined the cast of the High School Musical movie franchise as Taylor McKessie. She then had a small voice role in an episode of ‘The Cleveland Show’. The actress then appeared in the educational TV series ‘The Electric Company’ in 2010. Four years later, she got featured in the comedy drama film ‘Free the Nipple’ as well as in an episode of ‘Downtown Girls’. She next appeared in the romantic flick ‘Naomi and Ely's No Kiss List’.
In 2017, Coleman was cast as Katina Howard in season 3 of ‘Guidance’. She is also the host of Disney Channel’s ‘3 Minute Game Show: HSM Edition.’ She recorded a track titled "Christmas Vacation" for a holiday album called ‘A Disney Channel Holiday’.
