Molly Caitlyn Quinn was born in Texarkana, Texas, on October 8, 1993. She started early in her pursuit of a career in show business. Details about her family and educational background are not known to the media.
Molly Quinn started her acting career at a very early age. She performed in her community’s performance of the two-act ballet ‘The Nutcracker’ when she was just six years old and came to the notice of retired director and producer Martin Beck who recognized her potential. He agreed to coach her and gave her weekly lessons.
When she was twelve, Molly went for an audition at the Young Actors Studio and performed for the director Linda Seto as well as a group of representatives from the Osbrink Talent Agency. After impressing both Linda and the representatives from the agency, she took intensive acting training. She eventually signed with Osbrink Talent Agency and then later switched to Management 360.
Molly made her film debut with a short role in the American comedy film ‘Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story’ in 2007 and later went on to make three more short appearances in films like ‘My One and Only’, ‘Disney's A Christmas Carol’, and ‘The Sacrifice’ before getting her big break in the television industry.
In 2009, she was signed by Beacon Pictures and ABC Studios to play the character of ‘Alexis Castle’, the daughter of the lead character ‘Richard Castle’ (a famous mystery novelist), in the American crime-comedy-drama television series ‘Castle’. This was her very first major project which provided her a platform to properly showcase her talent.
After the successful launch of her character in ‘Castle’, Molly started getting better offers, both in films and television shows.
