Bryan Carti created his channel, 'MindofRez', on June 8, 2016. He initially started out as an NBA content creator and posted plenty of videos related to the field. He then began publishing videos on Fortnite in January 2018, with his first video being '9 Year Old Brother Plays Fortnite Battle Royale! OMG Did He Really Win'. This Fortnite gameplay video was an instant success and was eventually followed by more such videos. In February 2018, Carti collaborated with one of his younger brothers and taught him how to play in the video ‘Teaching 9 Year Old Brother How To Play Fortnite- Fortnite Battle Royale Solo-Tips and Tricks’. His journey of posting videos on Fortnite-related content continued and Carti gained moderate recognition on the platform soon enough.

Published on March 17, 2018, this gameplay video has earned over 10 million views as of now (as of November 2018).
