Milana Coco

Milana Coco was born on October 21, 1995, in Vladikavkaz, North Ossetia-Alania, Russia. At the age of ten, she moved to Toronto, Canada, with her family. She has two older brothers.

Milana is currently dating a Russian man who has been featured a number of times in her videos. Milana loves cars, especially the ones from the luxury sports range. Her boyfriend too is a car fanatic, and that is one of the reasons they gel well. In one of her videos, she was seen driving her Mercedes Benz C43 AMG, a prized possession.

A dog lover, Milana owns a cute Chihuahua named Candy, which she bought at Christmas 2016. She shot an exclusive introduction video for her little pet, which shows her sharing a few pet-care tips too.

Milana had developed an interest in ‘YouTube’ when she was very young. She watched a lot of ‘YouTube’ videos, especially those posted by beauty vloggers. Inspired by them, she too thought of showcasing her creativity on the platform. Milana created her first ‘YouTube’ channel in 2013, but it was just to follow her favorite ‘YouTube’ personalities. For two years, she did not post any content on her channel. Instead, she used that time to get herself equipped with the pre-requisites of being a “YouTuber.” Her first video was posted in April 2015. Milana majorly focuses on content related to beauty and fashion. Her channel consists of makeup tutorials, shopping hauls, skin- and hair-care tips, and other related material. Some of her initial videos were more like vlogs. She later added variety to her content, by including story times, challenges, pranks, and reactions, to make her videos more interesting. However, the focus of her videos never shifted from beauty and fashion. Most of her videos feature the theme of makeup, for instance the ‘100 Layers of Crayola’ video or the ‘Kylie Lip Kit’ video. In such videos, she ends up reviewing the products and showing how long the products could last.

Milana’s most-viewed video series is the ‘Don't Judge Me Challenge’ series, which shows her expressing her views on different kinds of ‘YouTube’ videos.

On January 21, 2016, Milana received her first play button from ‘YouTube’ for acquiring 100,000 subscribers. She posted a photograph of her award on her ‘Instagram’ feed to share her first big achievement as a ‘YouTuber’ with her fans. Her primary ‘YouTube’ channel has now crossed a million subscribers.

In 2014, Milana released her vlog channel. It served as a platform to update her fans about her personal life. She has a third ‘YouTube’ channel that is dedicated exclusively to her Russian fans.

At the beginning of each video, Milana shouts out the name of a follower chosen by her. This has helped her gain more subscribers for her channel.
