Mehgan James was born on February 11, 1990, in Houston, Texas. Though there is not much information about her family in the public domain, it is known that she has grown up at her house in Texas with six younger siblings. Talking about her relationships, she had dated former NBA player Kedrick Brown, whom she left after he allegedly cheated on her. Mehgan, in one of her interviews with Oxygen, cleared that she hasn’t dated Quincy Miller, as reported by some media outlets. Mehgan James is an easy going person, and loves to spend her spare time lazing around and having fun at home. She gets inspired by celebrities by the hard work they put in to reach their goals. Mehgan also admits that life after being in a reality show is not easy, as there are eyes all around to watch you and judge you, with no space for privacy. This brilliant girl who decided to start her own lingerie brand instead of spending a fortune on Victoria’s Secret, is soon going to capture a new market segment. Way to go, girl!

Mehgan James was a small-time model when she first marked her presence on the Oxygen channel’s popular reality show, ‘Bad Girls Club’ (Season 1). Though she was eliminated in the first season of the show, she re-appeared in Season 9, where she had a tiff with her housemates and left the show. Her fight with her fellow housemates was sensationalized by the media and it brought her a lot of publicity and attention, thus gaining her the reputation of a sexy lady with a tempestuous nature. Her career as a hot model and a reality TV star took off from there. Mehgan was also one of the finalists in the reality series, ‘50 Cents: The Money and the Power’.

Mehgan James was in the controversy for breaking into a fight with another TV personality, Keke Palmer, on social media. With ruthless lashes of words, both of them had quite a nasty quarrel that was witnessed by the whole world of netizens. The fight started when Keke tweeted saying she (Mehgan) seems to be weak as an opponent in the show ‘Bad Girls Club’. An enraged Mehgan reacted to this through her tweets. In one of them, she wrote, “Miss keke, I’m sorry that I upset you so much so that you had to go on a rant. It seems to me that you’re worried about the wrong things.” Soon the fight escalated to a bitter war of words which continued for a few days before fading into oblivion.
