Maximilian Christiansen

Maximilian Christiansen was born on September 23, 1965 in Los Angeles. Details about his parents are not known though he has revealed that he has a sister named Tess. He is a friendly, charismatic, likable, and entertaining individual. One funny aspect about the popular game content producer is that he is terrified of spiders! He loves dogs and has a pet dog named Benny. Tall and good-looking with a broad forehead and longish hair, Max bears a slight resemblance to the Hollywood superstar Nicholas Cage—a fact that his many fans will attest to!

In 2011, Maximilian Christiansen first appeared on a series of matchmaking commentary videos with ‘Marvel vs. Capcom 3’: Maximilian’s ‘The Online Warrior’ Episode 1 Pt-1. These episodes comprise the mechanics of gameplay, character specialties, play styles, and highlights. In 2012, Maximilian Dood uploaded his first video of the ‘Assist Me’! series where he talked about the core elements of frame data, tactical specialties, and demonstrations and strategies to be executed while playing the game. The ‘sketch comic shorts’ in the ‘Assist Me’! series, where Max interacts with the appearances of the ‘Marvel vs. Capcom’ cast has won laurels globally. With success in hand, Max uploaded a montage series named ‘Boss Rage!’. The montage series relates to Max and Yo! video games where in the two of them challenged each other to win the most difficult fighting games. The series of this game began in 2013 and Max defeated the final boss Eyedol of ‘Killer Instinct’ and leads of other games including ‘Marvel vs. Capcom 3’, ‘Capcom vs. SNK 2 ‘, ‘Bio F.R.E.A.K.S’, and ‘Mortal Kombat 9’. Recently, Max came up with Git Gud, a series about general fighting game information & tutorials.

Maximilian Christiansen won the honorary Cannon Award during EVO 2015 for his contribution to the Fighting Game Community. Max, in the course of his career, has gained a huge number of subscribers on YouTube as well as on twitch.tv. His videos attract every age group and people love him for his fabulous commentary and humor. He made Capcom, a Japanese Video gaming developer, proud by becoming one of the successful personalities in the Fighting gaming community. Capcom helped Max release ‘Ultimate Assist Me!’ and ‘Retro Assist Me’. Having recognized his passion towards commentary, Max was made the commentator for EVO 2014-2016's ‘Killer Instinct’ Top 8 finals.
