Personal Life

Andrea Bocelli is generally regarded as one of the greatest tenors of all time. Having been born with poor eyesight, Andrea lost his vision completely when he was 12 years old due to a football accident. However, music had been a quintessential part of his life even when he was a child. Despite his condition, he kept singing, playing the piano, and making music and as he grew up, he became an international sensation. Over the course of his extensive career, he has released 15 solo studio albums, three greatest hits albums, and nine complete operas. A total of 90 million of his records have been sold to date. Andrea is an OMRI (Order of Merit of the Italian Republic) as well as an OMDSM (Order of Merit of Duarte, Sánchez and Mella).
