Martha MacCallum was born in Buffalo, New York, on January 31, 1964. She is the daughter of Douglas C. MacCallum and Elizabeth B. She studied at Ramapo High School of New Jersey and then attended St. Lawrence University from where she earned her bachelor's degree in political science. MacCallum also studied at Circle in the Square Theatre School and founded her Miranda Theater Company. The American news anchor married Dan Gregory in 1992 and gave birth to their three kids. Currently, MacCallum lives in Ridgewood, New Jersey with her family.

Personal Life

From 1991 to 1996, Martha MacCallum worked as a business news correspondent as well as an anchor for Wall Street Journal Television. There she worked on the shows ‘Business USA’, ‘The Wall Street Journal Report’ and ‘World Market Outlook’. After that, she went to WBIS-TV as a reporter and anchor. Then she joined NBC/CNBC and contributed to ‘Today Show,’ ‘CNBC World,’ ‘The News with Brian Williams’ and ‘BC affiliates’ before becoming a part of CNBC channel’s ‘Morning Call with Martha MacCallum and Ted David’.

She also contributed to the evening show titled ‘Checkpoint’. Soon after this, MacCallum created the series named ‘Inside the Business’. In the year 2017, she became the host of Fox News channel’s ‘The First 100 Days’. On April 28, this show was renamed to ‘The Story with Martha MacCallum’. In her career so far, the American journalist has also covered the presidential elections of four consecutive terms. She also covered the news of the birth of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s first baby from London.
