From Vine, it was a natural transition to move on to YouTube for Mark Dohner. Till date he has over 1.2 million subscribers on the platform and close to 89 million views on his YouTube Channel. His videos feature typical clickbait title and mostly deal with Mark’s everyday life, his roommates and other relations. In his YouTube Bio, he has described his content as ‘THIS IS LIKE REALITY TV, BUT BETTER!!’ and the viewers seem to realize that too.

The audiences love the way he chooses content and the fact that he uploads videos every single day, also affords a sort of continuity to his storyline. Not much is known about Mark’s early life. He grew up in sunny California and is currently based out of Los Angeles, California. He is super close to his family, his mom, dad and two sisters, who visit him regularly at his LA home.

He is also close to his grandmother who is currently suffering from Alzheimer’s. This personal connection to the disease has prompted Mark to launch a donation drive dubbed ‘#Dohnation’ for his viewers to assist families affected by Alzheimer’s. His videos also feature his friends regularly.

He is currently dating fellow YouTuber Kylie Rae, a pretty brunette, also a regular feature in his videos.
