Marie Avgeropoulos was born on 17th June 1986 in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. Her father is Philip Avgeropoulos and mother is Augusta Avgeropoulos. As a child she loved hunting, fishing and camping and enjoyed spending time outdoors.
She studied broadcast journalism for about two years in her own hometown and then she moved to Europe. However, after a few months she came back and settled in Vancouver. After this, she started her career in television and films.
Marie Avgeropoulos has a much talked about personal life. Though currently she is single, she has had some romantic alliances previously. She dated hunky actor Taylor Lautner for about a year. However, they broke off the relationship eventually. There was a rumor later on that she had started dating Shawn Roberts. She also has a pet dog named Chewy.
Acting is in the blood of Marie Avgeropoulos as her mother was in the same industry. She had started playing drums at the age of 16 years. For her excellent drumming skills, she was invited by a friend to some casting call in Vancouver.
