Maria Zulay Salaues

Maria Zulay Salaues was born to Ricardo Salaues and Karla Antelo in the town of Robore in Bolivia. She has two older sisters Gabriela and Carla, both of whom are models. Maria has been dating the French footballer, Paul Pogba, since 2017, and the couple is frequently seen travelling together. Paul has also visited Maria’s home in Robore. In her spare time, Maria loves to cook and especially enjoys eating Mexican cuisine.

Maria Zulay Salaues Antelo first came into the limelight as the girlfriend of Paul Pogba, the French footballer. Prior to this, she was known as a model. Maria was studying Business Administration at the University of Bolivia when she realized that she wanted to become a model. She moved from her hometown in Bolivia to Miami to pursue modelling. She was even crowned Miss Expobelleza in 2012. Her modeling career took off in 2013 when she was announced as the spokesperson for Ipanema Sandals. At the same time, she worked as a part-time real estate agent in California to support herself. It is believed that she met her future boyfriend, Paul Pogba, in Los Angeles and the two of them hit it off immediately.

Maria was noticed by the press for her stunning looks when she accompanied Pogba’s mother during the 2018 World Cup in Russia. The two of them cheered for the footballer together from the stands. It was around the same time that rumors of her engagement to Pogba started making rounds as she sported a diamond ring on her finger. However, neither Paul Pogba nor Maria Maria Zulay Salaues has confirmed this. They continue to be seen together at various official events and often smile for photographs alongside fans. Though Maria was active on Instagram, she recently deleted her account. She currently lives in Miami and has expressed her desire to move closer to her boyfriend’s hometown as they don’t see each other frequently.

Maria Zulay Salaues permanent move to the United States in 2017 is embedded in controversy. A video of her snorting unidentified white power, believed to be cocaine, was released on the Internet by her friend; Maria decided that she wanted a fresh start. It was for this reason she decided to move to Miami.
