Manjul Khattar

Manjul was born on July 20, 1998, in India. He has an elder sister and an elder brother. Manjul has inked his parents’ names, Om and Sneha, on his hand in Arabic calligraphy. He currently lives with his family in Gurgaon, Haryana, India. Manjul is working on earning his B.Com degree through correspondence. He realized his passion for acting when he was in the ninth standard. He would often participate in acting contests and other performance-oriented competitions. He is often asked about his hair-care regime and the styling products he uses.

Manjul loves pizza. His favorite Bollywood actor is Shahrukh Khan. As a child, he had a crush on the cartoon character ‘Shizuka’ from 'Doraemon.'

Manjul has been associated with actor and fellow "muser" Aashika Bhatia, but he claims he is single.

Manjul began his social-media career through 'Instagram' in June 2016. He would initially post random selfies on the platform. His adorable looks, his charm, and his superbly styled hair played a crucial role in boosting his popularity. Soon, he became remarkably popular with females. Manjul eventually developed an interest in comedy. He then ventured into 'YouTube,' where he created a self-titled channel in June 2017. He primarily posted comedy sketches on the channel. At that time, the video community 'musical.ly' was gaining momentum in India. Manjul’s 'Instagram' fans introduced him to the application and suggested that he post on the platform. His first ‘musical.ly’ video was a lip-sync performance on Ranbir Kapoor’s monologue from the film 'Rockstar.' Manjul earned an impressive fan-following with this video. He then began posting comedy videos on his 'YouTube' channel. On 'musical.ly,' he would post clips of all entertainment genres. However, his comedy videos received more popularity. Following this, Manjul focused more on creating comedy content. With time, he earned a massive fan base on 'musical.ly' and thus stopped uploading videos on 'YouTube.' Manjul still managed to earn over 305 thousand 'YouTube' subscribers. However, he has been receiving a lot of requests to relaunch the channel.

Within a short time, Manjul became a 'musical.ly' star. He has earned over three million fans and over 39 million “hearts” on the platform. Manjul is now a verified and crowned "muser." His fans have invented the term “Manjulization.” His 'Instagram' posts have earned him over a million followers on the platform.

In 2018, Manjul performed at an event organized by 'musical.ly India’ at 'The Westin Mumbai Garden City.' He displayed his singing and guitar skills at the event. He has also been part of a portfolio shoot for the 'SS Fashion Group,' a Delhi-based modeling agency. Manjul’s ultimate dream is to act in Bollywood and Hollywood movies.

With his rising fame as a "muser," Manjul has received a fair amount of criticism, too. He has been roasted and trolled by several "YouTubers" such as CarryMinati. Manjul has often been labeled as gay.
