Maggie Atcheson

Maggie Atcheson was born on May 29, 2000, in Iowa, the USA, to mother Ginger Atcheson and fatherJerry Atcheson. She grew up with a younger sister, a younger brother, and an elder brother. Currently, she is a sophomore in high school.

According to Maggie’s mother, YouTube has impacted her life in many positive ways. Maggie, who was a very shy girl, has come out of her shell and become more confident due to her interactions through YouTube.

Maggie Atcheson, Ciera, and Megan started YouTube channel TheCheernastics2 on October 16, 2011. The channel has garnered 1.7 million subscribers and 400 million views as of June 2018. Two of the most popular videos on the channel are ‘10 Things Gymnasts are doing WRONG! | Gymnastics Life Hacks!’ with 2.4 million views and ‘Can Megan and Ciera Still Do Gymnastics?’ with 1.7 milliom views. TheCheernastics2 channel has partnered with AwesomenessTV, which is a popular platform on YouTube with over 6 million subscribers. This partnership opened several opportunities for the girls, such as the chance to attend Vidcon, the convention for multi-genre online videos. At Vidcon, they got the opportunity to meet renowned authors, writers, vloggers, and many others. They also performed on stage, and were led to the stage by the security guards, which the girls found very amusing.

Maggie started her own channel ‘Maggie Atcheson’ on July 10, 2014. It has gained 74k subscribers and 780k views as of June 2018. The first video she posted on the channel was ‘Twister Paint | AMOM’.
