Madeline Phillips

Madeline Phillips was born on March 4, 1998, in Granbury, Texas. Her twin brother, Drew, is also a YouNow star. Madeline was in a relationship with her fellow YouNow star Nick Bean. She used to talk about him a lot in all her broadcasts. They soon became famous as a couple and were nicknamed ‘Nadeline’ by their fans and followers. A few months later, they broke up after spewing out nasty comments against each other.

Madeline is now dating a guy named Stephen, whom she met at a food joint. Stephen used to work part-time at the food joint. She liked him as soon as she saw him. She found him to be cute and was completely smitten by his groovy voice. A common friend named Jeremy brought them closer over the internet and they soon started dating. They now own a YouTube channel, where they post videos about their relationship.

Madeline loves chocolate chip cookie dough with ice-cream and goes gaga if it is topped with skittles. If given a chance, Madeline would like to settle down in Hawaii in future.

Madeline was never serious about making a career out of social media. However, when she was in her eighth grade, she came to know about one of her seniors who became extremely popular by posting photographs and videos on Instagram. Madeline was awed by her popularity, which prompted her to try her luck in social media. Hence, she created an Instagram account and started posting her pictures.

Thanks to her cute and beautiful pictures, she began gathering a number of fans. After some time, she also started posting many tutorial videos on hairstyle, makeup, nail art, cooking, etc. Her tutorial video on making a simple hair bow became extremely popular. Madeline was then requested by her fans to join YouTube so that she could start posting full-length videos on beauty and fashion.

She created her YouTube channel on August 2, 2012, and posted a few videos. However, she was not serious about making a career out of YouTube. She even deleted some of her videos when her schoolmates started pestering her about her ‘YouTube career.’

Around the same time, her brother Drew was gaining popularity on the live broadcasting service YouNow. Madeline was impressed by her brother’s videos and decided to do something similar. Initially, her live streams failed to achieve decent viewership. One of the main reasons behind the poor viewership was that she never spoke about herself and instead spoke a lot about her brother. Also, she was not regular in streaming her videos.

Eventually, she realized her mistake and started rectifying it. She now started streaming several types of videos on her channel, which earned her a huge fan base. She then started streaming her videos every day, and even live-streamed a 24 hour video. Slowly, she was bringing variety into her content. For instance, she once streamed a couple of videos after dressing up like a man, which was loved by her fans.
