Madeleine Jane Gray was born on September 4, 1998 in Chicago, Illinois, United States of America. She was raised by her parents, Mack Jane and Saddi Jane. She developed an interest towards music at a very young age and was duly supported by her mother, who served as her first music teacher.
Realizing Maddi’s passion for music, her parents sent her to the famous American vocal coach and singer, Brett Manning, who helped her to fine-tune her singing skills. Maddi quickly picked up the nuances of various forms of music and was hence made a part of many musical theatres when she was just eight years old.
By the time she was 10 years old, she had attended a conference at ‘Belmont University’ in Nashville, Tennessee. She created her YouTube channel at the age of 12 and started posting music covers of famous songs.
