Lowkeylina

Lowkeylina was born on May 21, 2002 in Chicago, Illinois. She has a sister named Dominique. She is a close friend of fellow Instagrammer Kaylee Halko, who received international attention for her progeria, which is a rare, progressive genetic disorder that causes children to age rapidly.

Various forms of performing arts have been part of her life since she was a child. She began with dancing which ultimately led to cheerleading. At some point, she took up singing.

Lowkeylina started off on social media by posting videos and photographs on Instagram. The oldest upload on her page is a video that was posted in April 2016. She gradually built up a loyal group of followers with her tumbling and singing videos. These days, she gets thousands of likes and hundreds of comments on each of her posts. She has a secondary Instagram account, under the username whoislowkeylina2. Besides content related to her talents, she also posts photographs and videos from her personal life.

Lowkeylina is a very popular TikTok star. She had begun posting on the app when it was still known as musical.ly. She does not just create conventional TikTok videos using Snapchat filters and wearing unique clothes, but also injects a distinctive comedic tone in them.

She set up her YouTube channel in March 2015 and posted the first video on it in March 2017. Titled ‘Reacting to My Old Private Musical.Lys // Lowkeylina’, the video has accumulated over 45 thousand views to date. As an aspiring singer, she uses her YouTube channel to release her covers of popular songs. Lowkeylina is also a gifted ukulele player and makes use of the instrument in her performances. As of 2018, she has garnered over 90 thousand subscribers and 3.4 million views on her channel. The most watched video there is ‘changes (cover) // lina’, with 2.6 million views.

Lowkeylina has formed the collaborative trio muserqueens with Gretchen Pearl and Zoe Hunter. Recently, she put out several original songs, including ‘Blank Boy’, ‘Stay’, and ‘Tell You Why’.
