Personal Life

Liv Freundlich was born on April 11, 2002 in the United States of America. She was born a year before her parents tied the knot in August 2003. Because she was born to famous parents, Liv started hogging the limelight right from her childhood. She made her acting debut at the age of three, when she played Julianne’s on-screen daughter in the 2005 comedy entertainer ‘Trust the Man.’ Liv was once again seen on the big screen four years later when she played a minor role in the Catherine Zeta-Jones starrer ‘The Rebound.’ Though she has not been seen in any other feature films so far, Liv often makes public appearances alongside her mother. From cheering their favorite basketball team to turning heads at red carpet events, Liv and Julianne are often spotted together. On April 15, 2016, Liv was seen with her parents and brother when she attended the ‘Tribeca Film Festival,’ where her father’s film ‘Wolves’ premiered. In 2018, Liv was spotted with her mother on three different occasions, including the opening of ‘New York Fashion Week.’ On March 24, 2018, Liv Freundlich was seen with her entire family in Washington, D.C., where they took part in the ‘March for Our Lives’ demonstration, which took place in support of tighter gun control. Liv has also represented the popular specialty retail company ‘J.Crew’ by walking down the ramp at a famous fashion show. Thanks to her impressive work as an activist, Liv Freundlich was named in the list of ‘25 Women Changing the World’ published by ‘People’ magazine. The list has Julianne Moore and Ryan Pascal among other notable activists.

Rise to Fame

After the ‘Sandy Hook Elementary School’ shooting, which occurred on December 14, 2012, Julianne Moore and a few other women wanted to do something to stop such horrific incidents. Hence, Julianne lent her support to Shannon Watts, who had come up with a nonpartisan group called ‘Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense.’ Julianne then became the creative council of another gun violence prevention movement called ‘Everytown for Gun Safety.’ Liv was subsequently encouraged by her mother to join the group as an activist. Liv is now part of the group’s latest branch ‘Students Demand Action.’ She often takes part in rallies and protests, demanding action against campus shootings.
