Lil Tray was born in 2009. Not much information is available regarding her family background. However, there was some news in the past regarding her troubled childhood. She used to live in Atlanta, Georgia, but now resides in Vancouver.

Apart from the statement of being broke at the age of six, she has also claimed to be house arrested and had her phone confiscated once. There are rumors that she is secretly supported by her parents. According to some sources, Lil Tay's mother, who lives in Canada, might be her manager. Her name is Angela Tian and is a real estate businesswoman. All these rumors surfaced after Lil Tay released a video where a mystery woman was seen filming the video.

It was earlier reported that Lil Tay was forced to leave her family home in 'Beverly Hills.' She was later found and picked up by some child protective service agents. Lil Tay posted a video on her 'Instagram' feed where she was seen in the child service office.

Lil Tay has gained social media prominence predominantly due to her bizarre image. She has released numerous videos boasting about her wealth and luxury. She has claimed to be broke at the age of six and was forced to ‘move bricks’ (a phrase meaning selling drugs). Thereafter, she worked hard and earned a lifestyle for herself. She now lives in her ‘Hollywood Hills’ mansion where everything costs more than one could pay as rent! She flaunts her wardrobe, always stuffed with branded pieces. She also boasts about the fleet of cars she owns and drives without a license! Roasted by many YouTubers, Lil Tay has been titled as the ‘Youngest Flexer of the Century.’ In addition to that, she is also labeled as one of the most annoying and spoilt girls on the internet.

Lil Tay has made headlines for some of her weird statements. She is often spotted with social media star Whoa Vicky whom she claims to be her foster mother. Lil Tay was heavily trolled after she came out with this proclamation. Lil Tay has had a beef with YouTuber Rice Gum after she bullied his sister online. Her verbal brawl with the 'Cash Me Outside' fame Bhad Bhabie too created headlines.

In addition to her brags over her riches, Lil Tay often boasts about her friendship with famous personalities, such as Chief Keef and Jake Paul. She had announced a collaborative rap with Chief Keef. With Jake, she has already released a 'Diss Track.' To gloat more about her fortune, Lil Tay composed a rap titled as ‘Money Way.’

Lil Tay owned an 'Instagram' account which had over a million followers. The account was reported and later disabled due to the overuse of obscene language. She later created another account but again posted abusive content while throwing rants at her haters. Her 'Twitter' handle too was disabled for the same reason.
