Lexy Panterra

Lexy attained fame with her singles Supa Dupa and Neon. Before this success she was a member of an all-girl R&B group. In January, 2014, the artist started an exercise program involving twerking called the Lex TwerkOut. She also gained a lot of admiration for her dancing skills, modeling pictures, and videos that she uploaded on her Instagram account. She became a sensation after she collaborated with Playboy magazine for the Twerking Through History video in 2015. The video became viral and got viewership across the globe. When Lex was merely five years old, she won her first beauty contest and this achievement was the stepping stone for the twerking, singing, songwriter phenomena that she is today. This was followed up by her participation in her first motorcycle race at the age of eight. Lex took the first spot in many races.

Lex did not have a very luxurious upbringing; she spent a part of her initial years in a dodgy Sacramento neighborhood but did not fall prey to the drug dealing that was a usual activity in the area. She has maintained a good rapport with both her immediate and step family members and feels indebted to them for their contribution in her life. But it was her father’s serious injury in a motocross accident that made her quit racing at the age of 11 when she was ruling the game.

The twerking star courted controversy when a snoring remedy billboard advertisement showed her as a Muslim girl in a black veil being embraced by an American soldier in 2013-2014. Both Muslims and Non-Muslims perceived it as insulting. In an interview Lexy said that school students told her that she looked like a terrorist. But such controversies did not dent her confidence.
