Laurel Coppock is a supremely talented actress. Born to an actress and dancer mother, acting runs in her veins. As such, when after completing her studies, Coppock turned to acting, little did it surprise anyone. After studying and playing comedy in Chicago, Coppock moved to Los Angeles, which opened a world of opportunities for her. Trying her luck in television Coppock appeared in meaty roles in several highly acclaimed television series such as ‘Modern Family’, ‘Arrested Development’, ‘The Office’, ‘2Broke Girls’, ‘Hot in Cleveland’ and ‘Workaholics’. Meanwhile, she made her big screen debut with ‘Food Jam’ in 2008. It was in 2011 that Coppock made it big with the comedy movie ‘Crazy, Stupid Love’. The film earned her acclamation and praise, both critically and commercially. She followed it with the film ‘Comedy Jam’.

Laurel Coppock was born on August 22, 1970 to Susan Coppock, a Broadway actress and dancer. She has two sisters, Selena and Emily Coppock. While the former is a stand up comedian and actress the latter is an art appraiser and dealer. Laurel Coppock spent much of her growing up years in East Coast. She gained her basic education from Colby College in Maine before enrolling at the Circle in the Square Acting Conservatory in New York City. Much before Hollywood happened to her, Coppock moved to Chicago where she studied and played comedy at Second City and ImprovOlympic. For a year, she was a part of Boom Chicago in Amsterdam. She then moved to Los Angeles thus commencing her journey as a renowned actress.
