Krisia Todorova currently lives in Razgrad. She attends the ‘Vasil Levski Primary School’ in Razgrad. She also learns music at the ‘Centre for Work with Children’ in Razgrad, where she is trained by Svilena Decheva. Todorova learns both singing and the piano.
Todorova is an accomplished dancer, too. She loves painting and drawing. She is an excellent student and loves math. Todorova is gifted with an excellent memory. She memorizes songs very fast. Her ambition in life is to become an accomplished singer or an actor.
Krisia Marinova Todorova was born on June 1, 2004, in Varna, Bulgaria. Her father, Marin, is a hotelier, and her mother, Angelina, guides her in music competitions. She has an elder sister, Tiffany, and a younger sister, Marina.
Krisia Todorova started learning music at the tender age of 6. She was 4 years old when she started taking dance lessons at the ‘Emi Dance School.’ Todorova learned folk dance and ballet.
Krisia Todorova started performing on stage at a very young age. She appeared on the Bulgarian talk show ‘Slavi’s Show,’ telecast on ‘bTV.’ This event helped Todorova achieve national recognition.
Later, she was selected to be a part of the TV show ‘Zapoznaĭ se s malkite,’ or ‘Meet the Kids.’ Todorova made her first appearance on this show in December 2013 and performed the song ‘Listen’ by Beyoncé.
In March 2014, Todorova was selected to sing the Bulgarian national anthem at the opening of the ‘UEFA Europa League Round of 16’ match between the Bulgarian club ‘Ludogorets Razgrad’ and the Spanish club ‘Valencia.’ Todorova performed live at the ‘Vasil Levski National Stadium’ in Sofia, in front of a crowd of over 40 thousand people.
In November 2014, Krisia Todorova, along with twin pianists Hasan and Ibrahim Ignatov, was selected to represent Bulgaria at the ‘Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2014.’ They selected the song ‘Planet of the Children’ for their performance on the show. Todorova was the lead singer, while the Ignatov brothers accompanied her on the piano. They secured the second position, losing to Italy by 12 points. However, they stood first in the press voting.
In December 2014, Todorova got the chance to perform her song ‘Planet of the Children’ at the ‘European Parliament.’ In 2015, she performed the song ‘Discover’ at the ‘Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015.’ The same year, Todorova performed at ‘New Wave Junior,’ held in Russia.
