Koleen Diaz was born on April 5, 1997, in the Philippines. She has a sister Kendra, and a brother. Koleen is of Filipino and Canadian ethnicity. She loves to indulge herself in creative activities like making short stop-motion music videos.

Koleen always had an inclination toward creative activities. When she entered her teens, she developed interest in girly activities like dressing up, doing makeup, and experimenting with looks. With time, Koleen realized that her petite body structure limits her dressing options. She saw an opportunity in that flaw and decided to be a ‘Beauty Guru.’ She wanted to spread out the message that fashion is for everyone, irrespective of the body shape, size, and complexion. With this idea in her mind, Koleen created a self-titled YouTube channel. The channel mostly contains look books, different makeup looks, everyday makeup routines, and makeup tutorials. Talking specifically about the ‘look book’ video segment, Koleen does an incredible job in teaming different pieces of clothing to create a new look. She offers tips on how one can use the same piece of clothing in many different ways. Koleen also shares her shopping hauls, and picks up her personal favorite piece every month.

Most of her makeup tutorials are targeted at the school going girls as this section is usually on a budget. Koleen offers useful tips on looking fashionable and trendy without spending too much. Her hairstyle tutorials are mostly for those lazy girls who need to get ready in a jiffy every morning.

Koleen's refined taste in fashion and her strong personality has helped her build a huge YouTube base. With over 36 million views and more than a million subscribers on her channel, Koleen has managed to shine among thousands of beauty and fashion experts.

To upload content from her daily life, Koleen created another channel 'KoleensLife,’ where she posts travel diaries, room tours, cover versions of popular tracks, and a few DIY projects. The channel has already gathered over 130 thousand subscribers.

It was an overwhelming experience for Koleen when she got featured on the fashion journal ‘Glitter Magazine.’ Koleen appeared along with many other established ‘YouTubers,’ such as Zoe Sugg. Koleen attended the 2016 ‘Beauty Convention’ held in Los Angeles.
