Kimberley Conrad

At the age of 17, Kimberley Conrad began taking up modelling assignments. As part of her modelling assignments, Kimberley Conrad worked with John Casablancas’ (an American modeling agent) modeling agency, Elite Model Management, and established herself in the Canada industry. During this time, John Casablancas’ Elite modeling agency encouraged her to pose for the American men’s lifestyle magazine ‘Playboy’. In January 1988, she appeared as the Playmate of the month in the Playboy magazine. In 1989, she was named the ‘Playmate of the Year’. The same year she married Playboy founder and publisher, Hugh Hefner, and this garnered a lot of media attention. The couple had two sons, and during this time she converted the Playboy mansion into a conservative home. However, after nine years of marriage the couple separated and began living apart, though they did not legally separate for the sake of their children. Kimberley Conrad then shifted into another home next to the Playboy mansion along with her sons. After 11 years of separation, when her younger son Cooper turned 18 years, she filed for a divorce in 2009. The divorce was settled in 2010. As per the pre-nuptial agreement Hugh Hefner has been paying her $250,000 a year. However, reports say that in 2009 she filed a lawsuit against him in connection with $5 million that came from the sale of a home they owned together.

Kimberley Conrad was born on 6 August 1962, at Alabama Moulton, Alabama. She along with her family moved to Reno, Nevada at the age of four and subsequently shifted to British Columbia in Canada when she was twelve. In 1989, she married Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, a marriage that lasted until 2010. The couple has two children together named Marston Glenn Hefner (April 9, 1990) and Cooper Bradford Hefner (September 4, 1991). In 1999, she was known to have been in a romantic relationship with British musician Rod Stewart. In 2005 she was romantically associated with American musician Quincy Jones.
