Kia Pegg is not married. She is not known to be in any relation. She is an active youngster, who loves acting. According to her mother, Pegg’s character is similar to the character of ‘Jody Jackson.’ She loves animals, and has five Chihuahuas. Currently, she lives with her family, in Tiles Cross, Birmingham. Pegg is active on social media platforms such as ‘Instagram,’ and ‘Twitter.’

Kia May Pegg was born on June 29, 2000, in Birmingham, England. Her father, Jonathan Pegg, is a boxing trainer and promoter. Rachel Pegg is her mother. She has two younger brothers, Jack, and Joe. Pegg attended the ‘Gossey Lane Junior School,’ for her early education. Later, she attended the ‘CTC Kingshurst Academy.’

From a very young age, Pegg started receiving stage training. She attended the ‘Birmingham Stage School Showbiz,’ for her stage lessons. Her drama teacher recognized the talent in the young girl, and inspired her to take it up seriously. As Pegg found it easy to memorize lines, she gave a thought to acting. Pegg enjoyed being in front of camera, more than being on stage.

In 2008, at the age of 8, Kia Pegg made her debut on TV. She played ‘Barbara,’ in an episode of the TV series, ‘The Legend of Dick and Tom.’ It was telecast on the ‘CBBC’ network. In 2010, Pegg made a small appearance in the comedy-drama movie, ‘Toast.’ It was a biographical movie directed by S. J. Clarkson. In the movie, Pegg played the part of a primary school girl.

In 2011, Kia Pegg landed a more prominent role, in the children’s adventure comedy movie, ‘Horrid Henry: The Movie.’ It was directed by Nick Moore. The movie was based on the fictional character, ‘Horrid Henry,’ from the children’s book series written by Francesca Simon. In the movie, Pegg portrayed ‘Vicious Vicky,’ who was the sister of ‘Sour Susan,’ and was a naughty child.

In 2012, Pegg grabbed the role that led to a big break in her career. She was offered the role of ‘Jody Jackson,’ in the British sitcom, ‘Tracy Beaker Returns.’ It was based on the novels written by Jacqueline Wilson. The series was aired on the ‘CBBC’ network. Though she appeared only in 3 episodes of the show, the character became a regular presence in the subsequent spin-offs of the series.

In 2013, Pegg got the chance to play ‘Jody Jackson,’ in the series, ‘The Dumping Ground,’ which was a spin-off of the ‘Tracy Beaker Returns.’ This was also aired on the ‘CBBC’ network. The series focused on the lives of youngsters and their caretakers. ‘Jody’ was a regular presence in the show. Pegg gave an outstanding performance in the series. In 2014, she was nominated for the ‘BAFTA Children’s Award,’ under the category of ‘Best Performer.’

In 2014, Pegg starred in the mini-series, ‘The Dumping Ground Survival Files.’ It was a five part series based on the characters from ‘The Dumping Ground.’ This was aired on the ‘CBBC’ network. In the same year, she starred in the movie, ‘The Quiet One.’ It was directed by Jon Pegg. In the movie, Pegg played ‘Peewee,’ who was the daughter of one of the protagonists.
