Keren Swanson was born on November 18, 1992, in Griffin, Georgia, to John Alfred Swanson and Catherine Swanson. She is the youngest of the three daughters of her parents. Her older sisters are Catherine and Mary. She also has an older half-sister named Melissa from one of her mother’s previous relationships. When she was three years old, her parents divorced. She has stated that while her parents loved each other, there were several issues in their marriage. The biggest of them was her paternal grandmother’s Alzheimer’s disease, which had turned her violent. Keren’s mother increasingly felt the house to be unsafe for her and her children and eventually gave her husband an ultimatum. She told him that either he would put his mother in a nursing home or she would leave with her children. Keren’s father refused to shift his mother and they subsequently divorced.

Catherine then moved to Florida with her children to stay at her mother’s place. She later remarried and moved Keren and her siblings to Orlando. After that relationship did not work out, they returned to live with Keren’s grandmother.

Catherine eventually managed to get her own place and relocate her family there. In the ensuing few years, she would move her family from one place to another because of the rising rent. Keren attended school in Orlando and during her freshman year, she met Khoa for the first time. However, her relationship with her father was deteriorating at the same time. He stopped calling and sending letters to her. John had been suffering from emphysema since he was in his 30s. Their relationship would never mend. He passed away on March 22, 2016. Keren’s relationship with her mother had its own issues as well. However, it seems to have gotten better over the years.

Personal Life
Both Keren and Khoa used to work at his mother’s restaurant while she was pregnant with their oldest son, Jackson. Keren had set up their YouTube channel, ‘KkandbabyJ’, in November 2012 but she only began posting videos after she became pregnant, in April 2015. She maintained a weekly pregnancy vlog until she gave birth. After this, Khoa started to appear more often on her channel. In time, the channel grew and these days, they get thousands of views on each of their videos. The most watched video on their channel is ‘Baby Boy's Birth Vlog! | Landon Has Landed’, with 6.5 million views.

Rise to Fame
After creating her personal channel in February 2016, she posted the first video there about a week later. The most popular video on this channel is ‘Mommy Morning Routine.’, with nearly 3.5 million views. She is equally popular on other social media platforms as well, with impressive numbers of followers on Instagram and Twitter.
