Justin Drew Blake born at
Justin Blake's life has been quite different from most other internet celebrities. He started out as a no-body, literally. His social life in school was not at all like his social life on the internet now. As a transgender, he had a difficult time at school. He was not particularly comfortable with coming out to his friends at school about his gender, even though his teachers were aware. However, when he started posting on various social media platforms, it made him more open eventually. As he started posting his transition experience on social media, he gained a huge number of supporters and well-wishers.
Identifying himself as FtM transgender and gay, Justin felt compelled to come out to someone about his sexuality during his freshman year at school. He first expressed that he is a transgender to his brother Danny. It was easy for him due to the fact that the brothers have a close relationship. He later came out to some of his close friends who were generally okay with the fact that he is a transgender. His father helped him in his transitioning by urging him to open up to his school counselor, and his teachers were also acceptant of his sexuality. As he started to accept who he is and how he wants to spend his life, he also started to gain popularity. Other than his presence on various social media platforms, he also has a vlogging channel where he openly talks about his experiences as a transgender.
According to Justin, people who never liked him even before he came out as a transgender got a reason to hate him once he did come out. As a transgender, gym class has been his biggest fear at school. He would often be the last person to go to the locker room after all his peers had left. It was so difficult for him at times because of other people in the gym class that he ended up avoiding gym altogether. Around the time he was halfway through his sophomore year at school, people started to find out about his social media presence and fame. Sometimes his classmates were not very happy about the fact that he, who was a 'nobody' at school, became so popular on the internet. It got worse because of the fact that though he came out to his teachers, he never fully came out to his class. He gradually started to find attending every class as difficult as attending the gym. He eventually broke down one day and his councilor suggested that he should better start taking online classes. He took online classes for some time before moving to another school, this time coming out to his classmates about his sexuality in advance.
