Julien Kang was born on 11 April 1982 in Saint-Pierre et Miquelon, an overseas French territory off the coast of Canada. His mother is French while his father is Korean. He has an elder brother Denis Kang who is a well-known mixed martial artist.
Julien Kang made his acting debut on television in 2008 by appearing in a cameo role in the TV series ‘Star's Lover’. He then appeared in the series ‘Dream’ and ‘High Kick Through The Roof’. Then in 2010, he acted in the dramas ‘Personal Taste’ and ‘Road No. 1’. That year he also appeared as a guest in an episode of ‘Star Golden Bell’. After this, the actor made a cameo in ‘Real School’ in 2011. He also appeared in the series ‘High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged’ and in a music video for Nine Muses.
Then in 2012, he was cast in the series ‘Twelve Men in a Year’, ‘Goodbye Dear Wife’ and ‘To the Beautiful You’ as well as in the variety shows ‘Radio Star’ and ‘Running Man’. Julien Kang also got featured in a music video for Zia that year. Soon after this, he joined the cast of the reality show ‘We Got Married’. Then he played Julian in the drama ‘Potato Star’.
From 2013 to 2015, he served as a cast member and guest on the variety show ‘Our Neighborhood Arts and Physical Education’. The South Korean star then acted in the 2014 TV dramas ‘Golden Cross’ and ‘Marriage, Not Dating’. In the year 2016, he appeared in a cameo role in the television program ‘Entourage’.
