Julie Franke

Julie Franke was born on 11 January, 2009 in Utah, Western USA to Kevin and Ruby Franke. Her father is an assistant professor of civil engineering in Brigham Young University. She has three older siblings and two younger siblings, who have appeared along with her on the YouTube channel, ‘8 Passengers’.

Julie loves being in front of the camera and is very close to her siblings. Though she is just 8 years old, she is quite confident of facing the camera and is a decent singer as well. She may not be a star in every sense of the word, but she certainly has the potential to become an actress and a singer in the near future.

Julie Franke was first introduced to the world through YouTube by her parents, Kevin and Ruby Franke, in the second video posted on their family channel, ‘8 Passengers’. The video was titled ‘Meet the Passengers! – Julie’ and was uploaded in January 2015. The video was a collection of clips, portraying Julie from the time she first started walking until her first day at school. The video was an instant success and went viral on the net.

Ever since, the family vlog channel has gained more than 1.1 million subscribers. Julie then made several appearances, along with her siblings and parents. She also sang a hit number for her mother which was recorded and uploaded on the net. Fans love her for her innocence and for her amazing attitude which she displays in the series.

Julie’s family started off by posting a video every Tuesday, with an occasional bonus video during the weekdays. The videos gained wide viewership in USA and around the world. Julie appeared in most of the videos and became a crowd-pleaser.

These family videos have been compiled into monthly albums that portray the events that take place within a family over a period of several seasons. The videos display the challenges and joy of bringing up six children in a closely knit family of eight. Julie has always been the main attraction in each of those videos.

Their July 2017 release was all about hairdos and fashion trend, while their September 2017 episode was about going back to school. The themes of their videos relate to all ages. They also display the emotions of both parents and children which cater to a large number of viewers.

Their December 2017 vlog is titled ‘Holidays with 8 Passengers’. It features Julie and her family, preparing for Christmas celebrations and New Year.

Julie’s confidence has gone up with every single episode and she has won the hearts of her viewers. Her singing too, has improved and she is definitely a star in her own right.

Julie’s uncle, Jared, and her aunt, Ellie Mecham, are also YouTube stars who post similar family vlogs. Their channel too, is gaining popularity by the day.

Her family is also related to the members of other family vlog channels like ‘Deru Crew’, ‘A Griffiths Life’ and ‘Bonnie Hoellein’ who are equally active on YouTube.
