Josiah was born on September 19, 2008, in Tacoma, a mid-sized urban port city in the county seat of Pierce County, Washington. His father is the popular comedian Kevin Fredericks and his mother is Melissa Fredericks. Isaiah, who was born on August 8, 2006, is about two years older than him.
His parents run a podcast together, called Love Hour. Besides this, Kevin is also an actor and YouTube content creator. His channel, ‘KevinOnStage’, has accumulated over 366 thousand subscribers and more than 104 million views since it was set up on November 21, 2011. He is also one of three founders of the entertainment company called The Playmakers along with his best friend and brother. An acclaimed comedy writer, he has written for Major Deal, Add-TV, and his children’s workplace, Awesomeness TV. At some point after Isaiah and Josiah were born, the family relocated from Tacoma to Los Angeles, California.
Josiah got his start in a 2013 miniseries titled ‘The Playmakers Show’. The series also starred his brother, father, his uncle Jason, and Anthony Davis. After this, he worked with his family again in ‘Fatherhood’, a miniseries that aired from 2013 to 2014.
He first became interested in social media after seeing his older brother’s success on various social media platforms. He and his brother joined the cast of Awesomeness TV’s sketch comedy show ‘Crazy I Saw’ on its 43rd episode. The web series aired its final episode on December 21, 2013. Titled ‘Ways Get More Christmas Presents’, the final episode was also the show’s 81st episode.
Over the years, Josiah has been constantly featured on his brother’s YouTube channel Zay Zay Fredericks, which has over 124 thousand subscribers.
In 2015, he starred in ‘The Family Exchange’, a comedy film written and directed by his father. Besides Davis, Isaiah, Jason, and Kevin himself, the film also starred Shari Anderson, Faa Brimmo, Walter DeShields, and Adeena DeSouza. He appeared in the 2016 comedy film ‘Major Deal’, which was also written and directed by his father.
Josiah is set to be featured in the upcoming short film ‘Training Wheels’.
