Jordan Ladd was born as Jordan Elizabeth Ladd on January 14, 1975 in Los Angeles, California, USA, to Cheryl and David Ladd. Her sisters Lindsay Russell and Shane Ladd are also actresses. Ladd studied at the Webb Schools California and then attended the Southern Methodist University in Texas. However, she dropped out after a year. The actress married her longtime sweetheart, film editor Conor O'Neill in the year 2001. The couple parted ways in July 2005.

At the age of two, Jordan Ladd started appearing in advertisements. She began acting while in school and appeared in movies like ‘The Girl Who Came Between Them’ and ‘Broken Promises: Taking Emily Back’ at that time. In 1994, she did the flick ‘Embrace of the Vampire’ and appeared in an episode each of ‘Love Street’ and ‘Saved by the Bell: The New Class’ respectively. After this, Ladd was cast in the TV film ‘Weapons of Mass Distraction’.
