According to his parents, he could whistle from the time he was just three months old and would display his music sense by making an effort to create a simple composition out of whistling. He and his family settled for sometime in Boca Raton, a south-eastern coast city in the US state of Florida. He would post selfies and pictures of his day-to-day life on Instagram and singing videos on YouTube. With time, he rose to fame as a budding Instagram star with his cute, charming, funny, playful and lovable pictures. While in Boca Raton, he gained considerable attention as an Instagram personality.

He became more focussed in building his career in the entertainment industry. He went on to sign with a local manager and gradually received offers in print, television and movies. His Instagram account has over one million followers. His self-titled YouTube channel has over 25K subscribers. Hannon has also garnered decent fame through his musical.ly account, ‘jjhannonofficial,’ where he has gained more than 360 K followers.

During the summer of 2017 he toured with the ‘Boys Of Summer’ band as a supporting artist. On December 9, 2017, he came up with his debut single, ‘All I Want Is You,’ a pop holiday song released through ‘Good Times Entertainment, LLC.’

He has shared stage with several social media stars which also includes Instagram star Aaron Melloul. He has also ventured into garments business with his own label.

JJ Hannon was born James Hannon on August 1, 2001 in Long Island, New York, United States. Later he relocated to Los Angeles California with his family. His parents are very supportive of his endeavours. His mother, Rory, was a competitive gymnast during her growing up years. She supported her son by working as his manager and has thousands of followers on Instagram, thanks to the surging popularity of her multi-talented son. Although not much is known about his family background, childhood and education, he describes himself as a singer and a graduate from the fictional British school of magic for students, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, created by J.K. Rowling in his Harry Potter series. Justin Bieber is his favourite singer while Logan Paul is his favourite YouTube star.

There are no rumours or any information available regarding his romantic association and dating status, and it seems that he prefers not to divulge much on his personal life. He likes Asian culture and wants to travel to Asia. He thinks Japan and Indonesia are the most interesting countries.
