Jessica Ballinger

Jessica was born Jessica Smith, on April 8, 1983, in California, Los Angeles. Jessica is married to her high-school sweetheart, Chris. They are proud parents of four children: Bailey, Jacob, Parker, and Duncan. Jessica’s parents divorced when she was 10. She is the sister-in-law of Colleen Ballinger, a popular comedian and actor. Jessica’s brother-in-law, Trent Ballinger, is a social-media personality, better known as "Implantedgamer." Jessica currently lives in Ventura, a coastal city in California.

Jessica has a major in theater. She has also studied anthropology and education. Chris saw her for the first time in a production of ‘The Music Man.’ Jessica saw Chris for the first time in ‘ComedySportz,’ an “improv” comedy club. Eventually, their friendship turned into a passionate affair. They would often do plays together and spend time with each other. The first movie they watched together was 'Austin Powers 2.' Jessica had a cute habit of collecting the tickets of the movies they watched together and keeping them safe in a file.

Jessica and Chris got married on June 19, 2004. Each of their wedding invitation cards was hand-painted by them. They had their honeymoon in Europe. They have a journal in which they have chronicled every beautiful moment from their honeymoon.

Jessica ventured into vlogging after marrying Chris Ballinger, a magician and 'YouTube' vlogger. Jessica created a self-titled 'YouTube' channel in an attempt to capture moments from her children’s lives. She became a mother soon after her marriage to Chris. Initially, she would post vlogs only about her children and would rarely appear in her own vlogs. This was until the fall of 2014, when she started to make appearances on her vlogs. Simultaneously, she also started to contribute to her husband’s channel.

Chris launched his 'YouTube' channel primarily to display his magic tricks but later turned to full-time vlogging. When he quit his job to become a full-time vlogger, Jessica supported him wholeheartedly. They began making vlogs on relationships, marriage, and parenting. Jessica’s individual channel hosts similar content. She has posted several vlogs on complications and strange food cravings during pregnancies. Jessica and Chris make an adorable couple and have given their fans serious relationship goals. In many of their Q&A videos, they have discussed their relationship and have even answered marriage-related queries of their fans. They also made a family music video that has garnered over 16 million views to date. Their family channel now has more than 995 thousand subscribers. Jessica’s individual channel, however, has relatively fewer subscribers.

Jessica is also active on 'Instagram' and 'Twitter.' Her 'Instagram' page houses scores of her family’s pictures and has earned over 275 thousand followers on the platform. Jessica once posted a poll on her 'Twitter' account after the shooting at 'YouTube’s' 'Silicon Valley' headquarters. She asked her 'Twitter' followers for ideas to stop gun violence. The account has earned over 136 thousand followers.
