Jerry Hall’s modelling career began when she appeared as a mermaid on the cover of the 1975 album ‘Siren’. By 1977, she had modelled for about 40 magazines including the ‘Cosmopolitan’ and ‘Italian Vogue.’ One of the most photographed and visible models of the American modelling industry in the late 1970s, Hall was also featured in the promotional film for Bryan Ferry’s solo hit ‘Let's Stick Together’ (1976).

She eventually ventured into acting and landed a small role in the 1980 flick ‘Urban Cowboy’. A few years later, she appeared as Alicia Hunt in the movie ‘Batman’. In 1990, she got featured in an advertisement for Bovril. Soon after this, the actress was cast in the British TV show ‘Cluedo’ and in the series ‘The Detectives’. In the early 2000s, Hall acted in the play ‘The Graduate’. She then guest-starred in an episode of the drama ‘Just Shoot Me’. She then did the documentary ‘Being Mick’ in 2001.
