Jennifer Schwalbach Smith was born as Jennifer Mary Schwalbach on April 7, 1971, in Newark, New Jersey, United States. She graduated from UCLA. She met American film director Kevin Smith while serving as a reporter for ‘USA Today.’ She got romantically involved with him and became pregnant with his daughter. The couple got married in April 1999 and welcomed their first child, Harley Quinn Smith, on June 26, 1999. Currently, Schwalbach lives with her husband and daughter in the Hollywood Hills. The American actress is active on the social networking site Twitter.

Jennifer Schwalbach started her career as a reporter for ‘USA Today.’ She then got a job at MTV which she left shortly after. In 2001, she appeared as Missy in the comedy flick ‘Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back’. A year later, she acted in the movie ‘Now You Know’. Then in 2004, she did the comedy drama flick ‘Jersey Girl’. The same year, Schwalbach directed the documentary ‘Oh, What a Lovely Tea Party’. Soon after this, she guest-starred in the series ‘Degrassi: The Next Generation’.

In 2006, the actress played the role of Emma in the comedy movie ‘Clerks II’. Two years later, she got featured in the sex comedy movie ‘Zack and Miri Make a Porno’. In 2010, Schwalbach started hosting the podcast ‘Plus One’ along with her husband, Kevin Smith. Previously, she had co-hosted the internet radio show ‘SMod Co SMorning Show’ for SModcast.com as well as the show ‘Plus One Per Diem’.

Then in 2011, the American artiste was cast in the action horror flick ‘Red State’. Two years later, she voiced Bluntgirl in ‘Jay & Silent Bob's Super Groovy Cartoon Movie’.
