Jennifer Pappas, also known as Jennie, was born on October 13, 1993 in Toronto, Canada. She was raised in Pickering. Her hobbies include gymnastics and playing hockey and soccer. Jennifer Pappas began dancing at the age of two. However, she didn't realize that she wanted to be a professional dance until she was around 13. In 2009, she represented ‘Canadian Dance Master’ as Teen Miss Dance of Canada. The same year, she began assisting the choreographers of ‘So You Think You Can Dance Canada’. Then in 2013, Pappas was cast as Chloe in the Family Channel series ‘The Next Step’. Two years later, she appeared in ‘The Next Step Live: The Movie’ as well as in the Toronto Pan American Games Closing Ceremonies.
Talking about her YouTube career, Pappas created a self-titled channel on January 25, 2014. Her first dance video was 'Twice - Choreography by Jennie Pappas'. This was followed by the videos 'Jennie Pappas - This is Not America' and 'Landfill - Choreography by Jennie Pappas'.
