Jean-Luc Bilodeau was born in British Columbia, Canada, on 4th November 1990. His parents are Raymond and Barbara Bilodeau. He also has a sister named Danielle Bilodeau, who is a talent agent. Bilodeau is of French Canadian descent.

Jean-Luc Bilodeau was a dancer for nine years before he began his acting career. After appearing in a role in the film ‘Ill Fated’, he portrayed Josh Trager, one of the main characters, in the sci-fi TV series ‘Kyle XY’. It aired from 2006 to 2009, covering three seasons. The story revolved around a teenage boy who wakes up naked in a forest with no memory. As the story progresses, he tries to uncover his identity as well as the cause of his memory loss.

In 2007, he played a supporting role in the black comedy anthology horror film ‘Trick ‘r Treat’, which was written and directed by Michael Dougherty. The film centered on four stories related to Halloween, tied together by the presence of a mysterious child trick-or-treater. The film earned positive reviews and also attained a cult status over the years.

In 2008, he played a guest role in the popular American fantasy horror TV series ‘Supernatural’. The next year, he was seen in an episode of the comedy series ‘The Troop’. He also appeared in the TV film ‘Spectacular’, which was directed by Robert Iscove.

In 2010, he appeared in the TV film ’16 Wishes’ in a main role. The movie was directed by Peter DeLuise. In 2011, he played a supporting role in another TV film ‘Best Player’.

He next played a minor role in the 2012 romantic comedy film ‘LOL’. Directed by Lisa Azuelos, the film starred Miley Cyrus in the lead role, along with actors such as Douglas Booth, Ashley Hinshaw, and Demi Moore. The film was a commercial failure and was also met with negative reviews.

Trick ‘r Treat,’ a black comedy anthology horror film was one of the early works in Bilodeau’s career. Directed by Michael Dougherty, the film starred actors Dylan Baker, Anna Paquin, Rochelle Aytes, and Brian Cox in main roles. The film revolved around four different stories which are tied together by a mysterious “trick-or-treat” child. The film received critical acclaim and also acquired a cult status over the years. It won two awards at the Screamfest Horror Film Festival and at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival.

Bilodeau played the lead role in the American sitcom ‘Baby Daddy’. Directed by Michael Lembeck, the series also starred actors, such as Tahj Mowry, Derek Theler and Melissa Peterman. The show aired from 2012 to 2017, covering six seasons. As the show gained popularity, it was broadcast in several other countries including Australia, New Zealand, Israel, and the UK. The show earned mixed reviews from critics, but Bilodeau earned three ‘Teen Choice Award’ nominations for his work, out of which he won one.
