Jean-Luc Bilodeau was a dancer for nine years before he began his acting career. After appearing in a role in the film ‘Ill Fated’, he portrayed Josh Trager, one of the main characters, in the sci-fi TV series ‘Kyle XY’. It aired from 2006 to 2009, covering three seasons. The story revolved around a teenage boy who wakes up naked in a forest with no memory. As the story progresses, he tries to uncover his identity as well as the cause of his memory loss.
In 2007, he played a supporting role in the black comedy anthology horror film ‘Trick ‘r Treat’, which was written and directed by Michael Dougherty. The film centered on four stories related to Halloween, tied together by the presence of a mysterious child trick-or-treater. The film earned positive reviews and also attained a cult status over the years.

Bilodeau played the lead role in the American sitcom ‘Baby Daddy’. Directed by Michael Lembeck, the series also starred actors, such as Tahj Mowry, Derek Theler and Melissa Peterman. The show aired from 2012 to 2017, covering six seasons. As the show gained popularity, it was broadcast in several other countries including Australia, New Zealand, Israel, and the UK.
