Janel Parrish

Janel Parrish was born on October 30, 1988 in Oahu, Hawaii. Her family consists of her mother Joanne Parrish, father Mark Parrish and sister Melissa Parrish. She completed her schooling from Moanalua Elementary and Middle Schools. She loves to sing, dance, write and travel. Regarding her love life, she is dating musician Justin Altamura and uninhibitedly shares pictures and details of their relationship on her social media accounts.

Janel Parrish started learning piano and dance at the age of six, and soon started giving public performances. She quickly became a local star in Hawaii but rose to mainstream popularity with her performance in the 2003 remake of the television show ‘Star Search,’ in which she performed the song ‘On My Own’ on piano. Later, she earned more fame with her role in the Broadway production of ‘Les Miserables,’ her guest appearances in ‘The Bernie Mac Show,’ ‘Baywatch,’ ‘Zoey 101,’ and her role in the NBC series ‘Heroes.’ Her fist movie role was as “Jade” in ‘Bratz: The Movie’ in 2007. In 2007, Janel was signed to Geffen Records for the production of her first album. Her first single, ‘Rainy Day’, was released on July 7, 2007. The song was also featured in the Bratz Motion Picture Soundtrack. She made a brief appearance in ‘Rockstar’, one of Prime J’s music videos and in NLT’s music video ‘She Said, I Said.’
