Jamie Clayton

Jamie Clayton is a transgender woman, and she never felt the need to hide her real identity. She was never ashamed of her real self and felt proud to be part of the LGBTQ community.

She is not married to anyone and is attracted to both men and women. It was believed that she once dated ‘Matrix’ star Keanu Reeves, but none of them confirmed their relationship.

Jamie is also a model but is currently working on her acting skills. She does not want people to judge her for what she is and wants them to recognize her for her work.

Jamie Clayton was born on January 15, 1978, and was raised in San Diego, California. Her father, Howard Clayton, worked as a defence attorney, and her mother, Shelley Clayton, was an event planner.

She grew up with her sister, Toni. Jamie later moved to New York. She had always dreamed of being a makeup artist, but had never thought of being an actor.

Jamie started her career as a makeup artist. At the same time, she also hosted the ‘Vh1’ show ‘TRANSform Me.’ The American reality show premiered on March 15, 2010. It revolved around the makeover of girls by three trans-women stylists.

The following year, she was cast in the HBO series ‘Hung.’ Jamie was offered the role of ‘Kyla,’ which was a recurring role. It was a comedy–drama series that aired on ‘HBO’ from June 28, 2009, to December 4, 2011. She appeared in the third season of the series.

In 2012, Jamie appeared in the comedy web series ‘Dirty Work.’ The series was produced by ‘Fourth Wall Studios’ and featured her in the lead role of ‘Michelle.’

Following the success of her previous series, Jamie was cast as ‘Carla Favers’ in the American sitcom ‘Are We There Yet?’ She appeared in the episode titled ‘The Wrong Way Episode.’ The series was based on the 2005 feature film of the same name.

In 2013, Clayton appeared as ‘Nadya’ in an episode of the series ‘Hustling,’ named ‘Sugar.’ The series portrayed the life of a man who worked in the porn industry and enjoyed a lavish lifestyle and what followed when he grew old.
