While she lived with her family in Utah, she was discovered by a Los-Angeles-based manager who persuaded her to move to the entertainment capital of America. She was still a young girl when she and her family finally relocated to Los Angeles. Besides singing and acting, Facer also enjoys playing the piano and the guitar. She has a penchant for song writing as well. Because of her hectic acting and singing schedule, she is currently being home-schooled.

Jada Facer set up her self-titled YouTube channel on April 26, 2011, and uploaded the first video two days later. It was a reel video that was shot for an agency, demonstrating her talent. She posted her next video, a cover of John Lennon’s ‘Imagine’, nearly a year after that, on April 3, 2012. She is still a regular YouTube user and posts covers on her channel regularly.

She has said that she had become interested in acting after working in the short film ‘Y: The Last Man Rising’ (2012). Based on one of the most iconic graphic novels of all time, ‘Y: The Last Man’ by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra, the film tells the story of a young amateur escape artist named Yorick Brown, who, alongside his pet male Capuchin monkey, becomes the only surviving mammals in the entire world after the apparent simultaneous deaths of the rest. Facer portrayed a character named Alice.

While ‘Y: The Last Man Rising’ was the first project she ever filmed, it was Hallmark Channel’s TV film ‘Love’s Christmas Journey’ that was released first, in 2011, effectively becoming her screen debut. The telefilm was based on a series of books by Janette Oke. Facer was cast as Annabelle Davis, a member of the family around which the plot revolves.

She next appeared in an uncredited role in 2012 in the comedy-drama ‘Beauty and the Least: The Misadventures of Ben Banks’. The film also marked her big screen debut. That year, she also starred in two short films: ‘One Bad Thing’ and ‘Niña Del Tango’. Facer began the following year by portraying a character named Elsie in the comedy-drama ‘The Caterpillar’s Kimono’ and went to work in a short film called ‘Father’s Promise’. She guest-starred in three television shows in 2014: ABC’s mystery drama ‘Mistresses’, CBS’ single-camera comedy series ‘Bad Teacher’, and Nickelodeon’s comedy series ‘ Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn’.
