Harley Quinn Smith was born on 26 June 1999 in Red Bank, New Jersey, United States, to director/ filmmaker Kevin Smith and his wife, actress Jennifer Schwalbach Smith. She was named after the Batman character “Harley Quinn.” Smith is the granddaughter of actress Grace Smith and Donald E. Smith and niece of Virginia Smith and Donald Smith, Jr.

She is close friends with ‘Yoga Hosers’ co-star Lily-Rose Depp. They first met each other in kindergarten at the Hollywood Schoolhouse.
